Welcome to Exscite — Hamiton's own interactive science centre. It's full of interactive, educational and entertaining exhibits — two floors of hands-on fun! There are regular touring exhibitions each term, plus many of Exscite's own exhibits and past favourites. The emphasis is on kids learning while having fun, but it's definitely fun for all ages.
General Opening Hours
Exscite is open every day from 10:00am to 4:30pm. This includes weekends and public holidays. You can find Exscite in the Waikato Museum complex, 1 Grantham Street, Hamilton.
During weekends, you can view weekend science shows at 11.30 am and 2.00 pm — a fun and educational experience for the whole family!
